Coach Supervision & Reflective Practice

Our Breadth of Services and Experience

Supervision is strongly advocated by the professional coaching bodies and is a requirement for
Association for Coaching (AC) and EMCC Accreditation. Even the most experienced
of coaches benefit from creating space to regularly reflect on and bring
inquiry to their coaching practice, continue to develop coaching skills and
hold self awareness around the coach/client and systemic relationships.

Why engage in Supervision? What are the benefits

A space to reflect on your own coaching practice

Continued Growth as Coach

Ongoing development of the Internal Supervisor

Creating space to explore ethical dilemmas

Resourcing yourself as Coach

Building emotional resilience

Meeting CPD/Supervision requirements for accreditation

(Supervisor Report available on request)

Coaching supervision skills and training are equally valuable for Senior Leaders who want to create space, with perspective to challenge themselves in their systemic, strategic thinking and self-awareness

If any of this resonates with you, get in touch. Coaching supervision is an important part of how you resource yourself and your coaching skills. It allows you to bring some quality assurance to your work. It enables you to create some reflective space and time to think around your coaching that allows you to step back, reflect and continue to learn from you own coaching.

In recent years, I have found myself advocating strongly for the role of supervision in the coaching industry. This is an emerging practice and while every coach does not follow supervision, mature coaching organisations are increasingly requiring internal and external coaches to be actively engaged in supervision / reflective practice and Accreditation. One to one and group supervision both serve coaches equally well.

Clearbird is committed to the highest industry standards as an accredited Executive Coach, a qualified Coach Supervisor by following active supervision and adhering to a comprehensive Code of Ethics.
