My approach is very emergent and I like to draw on nature and imagery and metaphors. Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment is always a key component, creating the optimum environment for thinking with attention, ease, equality and incisive questions at the core, while also honouring place, time, information.

I run 2-3 Conscious Coaching Circles per year, 

  • At least 1 in-person Dublin-based and outdoor-based  

  • Closed Conscious Coaching Circles for Group Supervision via zoom and 

  • Others subject to demand based on whatever emerges.

Once the group forms, we contract for a 12 month period which allows the group to build safe and trusted relationships within which to hold the work and reflective practice. The first session will always take longer than you might expect on contracting and really setting the group up to succeed. We co-craft how we want to work together and be together. 

Enabling reflective practice, peer sharing and learning are central to my approach.

In recent years, the restorative function of supervision has really come to the fore in both Group and individual supervision. Using creative and emergent approaches help in going deeper and beyond the conscious. We challenge the thinking and perspective so that coaches come out of sessions, feeling stronger and re-centred.

In this complex and fast-paced world, supervision is that place to come home to – to ground and to centre as you reflect on your coaching practice.
