The Conscious Female Leader Retreat

26-28 February 2025, Ballymaloe House

With female leadership burnout on the rise, this special Retreat has been designed for busy females who are juggling demands at work at home. They know that the cost of caring can at times be too much.

And they know that taking time to resource and replenish themselves is critical.

Signing up for this retreat is your invitation to step back & slow down so that you can re-centre and re-anchor yourself.

This special retreat has been designed as a sanctuary for leaders to step back, in a nourishing location to focus on self for a moment.

Drawing on a blend of approaches including reflective practice, leadership embodiment, creative techniques, Time To Think and more, you will feel refreshed and re-focused.

As a Master Executive Coach and Coach Supervisor, I know how important it is to invest in yourself, to resource yourself, to turn your compassion inwards and to connect with a wider coaching community.

The workshops are highly reflective, participative, engaging, thought provoking and will centre on Anchoring, Reflecting and Resourcing.

Ballymaloe House was chosen for it’s warmth and comfort that wraps around you from the moment you arrive.

What’s in it for you?

Previous Retreat participants consistently say that they leave with great clarity, feeling refreshed, re-focused, determined, resourced, empowered, inspired, optimistic and energised. What’s not to love?

And how do we get there? The Retreat provides structured time

  • to stop, think and re-focus.

  • to resource yourself, to ground and re-centre.

  • to think about who you are and who you are becoming

  • to reflect on leading through uncertainty with resilience and strength.

We focus on bringing perspective and tools that allow you to access your own inner wisdom. This is an authentic space where attendees show up with vulnerability and strength. We draw on a range of creative and reflective approaches so that you feel:

  • Better prepared to navigate challenges and changes ahead with clarity and focus

  • Sparked with ideas, insights and perspective from authentic conversation and exchange with like-minded professional women

  • Deeply resourced from having had the opportunity to prioritise thinkning about and for yourself - something we rarely take time to do.

  • Nourished from taking time for yourself  – body, mind and soul with workshops accompanied by locally sourced cuisine and optional cliff walks or sea swimming.

The full retreat package includes:

  • Four reflective, centring and energising workshops

  • Two reflective journaling masterclasses

  • Two night’s B&B accommodation in a private room

  • Two Farm to Table dinners and three lunches in Ballymaloe House

  • Pre-dinner drinks

  • Optional afternoon cliff walk or sea swim

It’s time to re-fill your cup.

Our third annual Conscious Female Leader Retreat creates space and time to press pause on the day-to-day demands and pressures.

This special retreat for leaders is about taking time and prioritising your own personal development and wellbeing with purpose and presence. If you don’t put on your own oxygen mask first, you can’t provide the support for others around you.

This work supports you as a leader to keep showing up in as you navigate complexity and uncertainty.

Ballymaloe House is a welcome sanctuary to replenish yourself with a small group of like-minded people. The care and attention (and cake) is second to none.

A Leadership Retreat with a twist.

I promise that you will leave feeling re-energised, re-grounded, re-centred, re-focused and with great sense of clarity and wider perspective.

This event is ideal for you if:

  • You want to feel re-focused, re-energised with perspective and clarity.

  • You feel pulled in many directions - leading and delivering on the business while caring (perhaps too much?) for team members. Caring for aging parents and family members might also be taking it’s toll.

  • You want to prioritise some thinking time for yourself.

  • You are in transition - considering your next step/phase, considering a new role or have recently started a new role.

  • You value time to think and welcome the opportunity to engage in structured thinking through creative and nature based approaches with a group of other fabulous women.

  • Any one or all of the above apply to you

You might be unsure about what to expect for attending a Retreat like this.

I’ve been told that it’s like nothing that attendees had experienced before. And yet, I know that there is clarity and focus - and a bit of magic - that comes from spending time on this Retreat.

Some of last year’s attendees captured it nicely…

Before the event, I felt a mix of anticipation, excitement and maybe even a touch of apprehension. It was my first event of this type and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I found the key benefits were the opportunity for self-reflection, the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and expand my professional network. It was interesting to hear other peoples perspectives and allowed an opportunity to take some time for mindfulness exercises in an safe and trusting environment”
A renewed energy, a sense of control and inspired by the supportiveness of the group
I felt relaxed, refreshed, excited, energised.
I felt at ease, ready and optimistic about changes ahead.
